Stage (nyc) magazine
I want to create the magazine about most interesting NYC stage performances.
Audience
Gender: Both
Age Group: adult, who is interested in theatre, professionals, theatre fans.
Geographic Location: NYC and around the world. Urban.
Education Level: Professionals, Educated people, some college.
Income Level: above of average, 65k and up per year household income.
I want to create the magazine about NYC theatre, about most interesting performances on the NYC stage, drama, opera, ballet, musicals.
Suggested name is "Stage (nyc)". This will be contemporary, elite, Four Times / Year (1 issue per season) magazine, bigger format, printed on high quality thick gloss stock paper.
Magazine contents will consists of critic's articles/reviews about best shown performances, Portraits-essays about Theatre stars, Theatre Photographers, Set Designers, History articles, Theatre news around the world and more, all about Theatre.
The issue I am working on for assignment will be a special edition dedicated to Summer 2008 Lincoln Center Festival. Main feature is about tremendous performance of opera by Bernd Alois Zimmermann’s “Die Soldaten”, performed at Park Avenue Armory last July. Also I would like to include pages with reviews for performances of 3 plays by Samuel Beckett (Gate Theatre–Dublin).
